Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner met three years ago at the altar on Married at First Sight, and now they’re raising a baby on a new Lifetime spinoff program. The network has ordered Married at First Sight: Jamie and Doug Plus One, US Weekly Reports.
When the 30-year-old was pregnant with her first child, she miscarried at 17-weeks. She shared her feelings of loss on Instagram.
"It wasn't my choice to survive without you," Jamie wrote. "So I will spend my life living for you and honoring you." Doug and Jamie named their little boy Jonathan Edward.
The couple welcomed their second child, a daughter named Henley Grace, into the world on August 22 and the Lifetime special will document the moments leading up to and after the birth of their beautiful little rainbow baby.
As she navigates life as a new parent, Jamie will be wearing our super comfortable dolman mama shirt on the show. A portion of every tee sold supports child loss, miscarriage, and postpartum mental health charities.
Married at First Sight: Jamie and Doug Plus One premieres on Lifetime on Tuesday, December 19, at 8 p.m. ET. Following the premiere, two 30-minute episodes will air on subsequent Tuesdays, beginning December 26 at 10 p.m. EST.
